The Hoyt Lakes Public Library will be open a minimum of 35 hours each week. The library director, with the approval of the library board, will determine the days and daily hours of operation. Summer and holiday schedules will be established to maximize staffing during periods of heavy and light library usage. Regular and holiday schedules for the calendar year will be posted on the library’s website.

The library will close on the holidays approved by the library board and at other times deemed necessary by the library director with the approval of the library board. Except in the case of emergencies, notice of closings will be posted in City Hall/Library, the library’s website and on social media.

Regularly schedules hours of operations will be established to best meet the needs of library users and will be evaluated on a regular basis.
